Lucky Penny Pin
Instructions to make a simple pin to wear, submitted by Christine Durham.

Materials Needed:
  • Penny
  • Net Fabric
  • Ribbon
  • Safety Pin
Instructions:
I was trying to think of some inexpensive gifts for our school children and came up with this. All it is...a penny tied by a ribbon in two layers of gauzy or net fabric. Before I tied the bow tightly I slipped a safety pin under the ribbon in the back. I did double knot the ribbon so if the bow came untied the penny would not fall out. Then I attached a piece of paper to the pin that said "Wear a Luck Penny Pin for Good Luck" - viola! Cute, easy, and inexpensive!!
