Instructions: Wipe down your terra cotta pot with a damp cloth and let dry completely. Paint the clay pot orange and the wooden spool green. Once the paint is dry, turn the clay pot upside-down and paint a jack-o-lantern face on it (figure 1). Glue the wooden spool on the pumpkin (figure 2). Make sure you match up the holes in the center! Once all your paint is dry, spray it with the clear acrylic sealer.
![]() Cut a small leaf shape out of fun foam and glue it to the wooden spool. Cut a few lengths of wire and wrap them around a thin paint brush or pencil to make spirals; attach them by the wooden spool with glue. To hang a bell in your pumpkin, start out with 2 - 6 inch long pieces of floral wire. Fold one in half and twist the two ends together. Make a loop at one end and a 'T' shape at the other (figure 3). Slip the bell onto the other piece of wire. Slide it to the center and fold the wire in half. Twist the wire together to hold the bell in place (figure 4).
![]() Attach the two wires together by sticking the ends of the wire with the bell, through the large loop of the other wire (figure 5). Twist the ends of the bell wire together so they are secure.
![]() Push the loop from the first wire up through the inside of the pumpkin and out through the wooden spool. Pull gently until the 'T' shape reaches the top of the inside of the pumpkin. Put a dab of glue into the hole in the spool to hold the wire in place. Your pumpkin bell is now done! - See a larger photo of this craft completed by Your Family Crafts Guide.
